A. Expulsion

1. Not registering for courses by the registration deadline
2. Missing more than 50% of the total attendance
3. With 2 or more consecutive warnings
4. A student who received 3 consecutive fails and did not pass the score of 14 in Attitude/Assignments
5. Submission of false or tampered transcripts and papers
6. Failure to continue coursework due to poor behavior, illness, and etc.
7. Prosecution by disobeying the immigration law

  B. Withdrawal

1. Withdrawal : If you wish to withdraw while the courses are in session, you must submit the form for withdrawal to the Director of the office of International affairs.
2. Leave of Absence : International students are not eligible to apply for a leave of absence. However, if a student is unable to complete the course of study due to medical reasons and your condition requires hospitalization for more than 4 weeks, the student may request a medical leave of absence but it must be supported by appropriate documentation issued from a licensed medical practitioner in Korea.

  C. Warning

1. Having being absent 30% (A student whose attendance rate is below 70%.)
2. Acting in disruptive ways which prevent others, including peers and instructors, from learning and teaching in the most academically effective environment

  D. Grading and Level Placement Standards

1. Attendance 10%, Behavior and Coursework 20%, Performance assessment and examination 70% = 100% in total
2. A grade of a minimum of 75 and an overall attendance of 70% will allow you to be placed in the next level

  E. Course Repetition

1. A student who passed the current level can repeat the same course one time. Please, submit an Application for course repetition form.
2. A student who failed to pass the current level will repeat the same course.

  F. Scholarship

1. Award of Recognition for Academic Excellence
   - 1st place: Grant KRW 300,000 (Seoul/Yongin)
   - 2nd place: Grant KRW 200,000 (Seoul campus)
   ※ Awards for one student per level. (level 1~6)
   ※ Grade must be minimum of 90.
   ※ 2nd place award only given for Seoul campus.
2. Promotion Award
   - Grant KRW100,000 for 2 students who have shown exceptional dedication and passion for learning in and out of classroom and who have made significant contributions to publicizing Myongji University through various channels of social networks.

  G. Refund

1. If you wish to before the term begins, 100% of the tuition fee will be refunded
   - Class days 01 to 08 (1/6) : 85% tuition refund
   - Class days 09 to 17 (2/6) : 75% tuition refund
   - Class days 18 to 25 (3/6) : 50% tuition refund
   - Class days 26 to 33 (4/6) : 30% tuition refundClass days 34 to 50 (5/6) : No refund
   ※ Tuition fee will be refunded at the following condition; when oneself has gone back to his/her country, provide documents that can prove to go to undergraduate or graduate school, after confirming changing D-4 visa type to other. [On the condition that going back to one's country, it can only be refunded to one's country's bank account.]
   ※ In the case of withdrawal, the amount of the refund shall be calculated on the date of withdrawal.
